Eligible program participants who are enrolled in our FREE phone or online counseling may receive up to four weeks of patches. The release of all Nicotine Replacement Therapy products is ultimately at the discretion of the caller's assigned tobacco quitline counselor.
Eligible callers must:
- Be 18 years of age
- Not have any medical conditions that are possible complications for NRT usage
- Agree to enroll and actively participate in telephone or online cessation counseling
- Be ready to quit within 30 days
- Remain compliant with appropriate NRT usage and tobacco quitline counseling protocols

The Alabama Tobacco Quitline is open Monday through Saturday except for recognized holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day.
